PRE AND POST OPERATIVE REHAB
Physiotherapy interventions are effective tools for improving patient's physical function, range of motion and pain before and after the surgery in a short-term follow-up following surgery, including orthopedic procedures, accident recovery, orthoscopic procedures, joint replacements (TKR, THR etc.,)
Before and after the surgery, physiotherapy helps with the recovery process, focusing on reducing pain and swelling, improving mobility, and restoring function. It often includes exercises to increase strength, flexibility, and coordination, and may involve techniques like manual therapy, ice or heat therapy, and electrical stimulation to aid in healing.
Together, pre and post op therapies can significantly improve surgical outcomes and shorten recovery time.
